Has anyone else seen that "Getaway Driver" rubbish on BBC? I mean, seriously, wtf? Have they just made that because The Stig had a guaranteed contract and they had to find something to put him in? It has got to be the daftest, and dullest, thing on TV. It's about as exciting as watching jelly set. And what's the point in wasting licence-payers' money by filming it in South Africa? Is there anything that they do there that couldn't be done in the UK? I know where there's a big aircraft hangar with a decent test track next to it that's not being used for a while... Is it just me? Am I getting old and grumpy?
Is this a poll on you? I couldn't see the voting options, GOM! its Saturday night tv. it's in the brief to be rubbish and to treat the Semi/Demi stars to a free holiday.
You do realise The Stig isn't real don't you? It's probably more to do with keeping the merchandising going. I also suspect the set is used for multiple national versions of the same thing, much like the Total Wipeout set
BBC - BBC One commissions The Getaway Car - Media Centre It's all paid for by the BBC licence payers... Although as the BBC hold "the worldwide rights" they're obviously hoping to sell it to other markets - maybe other countries like boring mindless drivel on TV on Saturday night... Oh, and apparently it's called "the getaway car", not "the getaway driver" - shows how interesting it is if I couldn't even remember what it's called !

What the hell must she be like driving on the roads This week was no better Utter waste of my time As is The Voice after it that has nose dived into childishness with Paloma Faith I did like her but she is very annoying
