  3. 300 HP Tipo S76 Fiat
    Built around 1910/11, originally intended for an attempt on the land speed record which at that time stood at around 140mph
    The engine was originally designed for a dirigible, the Forlanini airship.
    28.4 liter 190x250mm overhead camshaft, 16 valve head, developing 190hp @ 1,900 rpm top power being around 2,200.
    Car stands at over 5 feet tall
    It did a couple of demo laps at Brooklands and was unofficially timed at Saltburn sands at 125mph

    Bloody ugly when you compare it to a lot of the other aero engine specials built around that time.

  8. Fantastic. I can't believe they managed to start it with the crank handle. That's an arm breaker if ever there was one.
