Hi All, Been a while since I posted but some ill health has kept me away from biking for a few months but I think I am on the mend now and even went out and washed the old girl today. I am thinking about a change from my 1200S Touring to the DVT Touring and wonder what you think a dealer would offer p/x. Details are 2011 1200s Touring in Black (which as we all know are the fastest) and it is mint. I know people often say mint and there is something cracked or broken, but this really is a minter. 8800 Miles, recently serviced with all fluids changed. Ohlins Suspension. Usual panniers with liners but also including a matched topbox and bag. Evotech Rad/Oil/Sump Guards. Narrower hugger, original included. Spare Screen. I would be looking at a brand new DVT (Red because there is not a Black and Red is the second fastest) Touring Pack but I also want a Top Box, Evotech or similar goodies and PR4's fitted from the off. I've been slack so far and not really done my homework, so I am hoping one of you helpful chaps would guide me on what a dealer might offer p/x or to sell privately. It is not for sale at the moment, I am still toying with the idea but your answers might sway me one way or the other. Thanks Fitz.
I think there will be a lot of older Multi's on offer at the moment as people trade up, you may be better waiting for a while. Also just sell all the extra bits on here, the dealer will not give you anything for them. The extras are only good to bargain if somebody is looking to buy from you privately.
@Fitzjnr, I've been offered £11k for 2013 S with 3k on the clock and touring pack, don't know if that's any help to you.
Got £9k trade in for my totally immaculate 2012 1200S Touring with 10k miles. Selling the top box, EP rad guard and ohlins semi active scu seperately.
Thanks for the replys, I looked on Ebay too and was seeing 8.5 to 9k. I was thinking 9ish so will see what dealer says. If I can't make the figures work I won't bother, the one I have is bought and paid for and not keen on spending too much on finance.
