I have a Carbon belly on my 848 and i like the look. There aren't really any nagatives to it if you like Carbon. I did have to tweak mine a little to make some of the holes for the grommets bigger but nothing major.
How much did you pay mate? I normally buy my bling through Carbon Trader, but his price is a little steep at £350...
Just over £220 with postage. It's chinese made (has manufacturer name inside) but they are a huge company and the quality was pretty good for the price. 100% Carbon, not Carbon over glass fibre like a lot of the cheaper stuff. I've had a few bits from RLA on ebay too which have been quite good.

I have them on mine too, I have some pictures somewhere too, I'll see if I can dig them out. Mine came from Germany, but +1 for the ones that Rich from RLA developments sell, I fitted a set to my m8's 1098 with no problems. Nelson had them on his old 848 too. Anth

Sleek to him ? does that mean sneak up behind him and go "BOO !! can i have some Carbon". My air ducts, heat shield, front mudguard and hugger all came from RLA. He did a discount for multiple items as well. I think his Belly pan is about what i paid for mine.
