Doing a shim service on my MTS DVT. Just put the camshafts back in on the horizontal cylinder and one closer is a little tight. Tolerance is 0.05-0.10mm. I can just about get a 0.03mm feeler in there but was expecting about 0.07mm. I done my best to get the keepers back in the same way up they came out My question is will the shims loosen up after the engine has been run? This is my first time working on a Ducati engine and still learning a few quirky things about them.
