hi guys has anyone had the forks tin coated on there bikes?? is it really much better than the standard chrome or is it just bling?? thinking of coating my forks on the track bike heard they prolong seal life but only what ive heard?? any input guys cheers??
had my showas diamond like coated. from what i read prior to getting it done, it was (or is) one or the best finishes for durability and lack of stiction and the coolest bit is its black! did i notice a huge difference? sure but i had a complete over haul and ktech internals fitted so how much is down to the DLC i dont know.. but worth looking it up mate
brook suspension. Really good bunch to deal with and from memory the DLC wasnt all that expensive, but that may have been slightly offset by the fact they had em in bits anyway.
on saying that, it looks good on a bike which already has a considerable amount of black on it, but gold looks better on a red red/white bike.
