Don't laugh. .. but after removing the dB killers from my BOS cans, I'm left with an annoying little hole in the end pipe, and, being a bit anal, I'd like to tidy it up with something. Ideally not a bolt, more like a little grommet that can live in that environment. Any (serious) suggestions?
1: No access to lathe Get yourself a button head cap screw. Drill a tiny hole close to head and hold with Tiny R clip. 2: Access to lathe. Get any stainless screw. Machine grove close to head to accept a C clip. Machine head down to 0.2mm say or smaller. In either case finish by cutting off excess screw. Personally I would opt for 2 as neat and less obtrusive but both fine. Both allow easy removal to refit dB killers.

Probably best idea so far, should be able to cut the bolt down so it doesn't show too much. Have to have a rummage for something suitable tomorrow.
A ball bearing the exact same size but, leave it in the freezer for a week so it will reduce in size slightly, then put it in the hole and as it warms, will wedge in.
