Has anyone got the schematic top box plate fitting instructions for the 2015 DVT bike?? A scanned copy would be really helpful for a fitting problem I have! Cheers
Did you manage to get your top box fitted? Mine came without any instructions and having problems getting mine fitted.
You will need four of the top-hat shaped spacers, for the four front mounting bolts. If you have only been given two, you'll be struggling. By the way, those bolts screw into threaded holes in the alloy casting. Try not to strip the threads!
Thanks for your reply. I just can't seem to work out how the the bars connect to the underside of the bike!! Dohhh Do you have any instructions? Or a good photo. Appreciate your help.
You should have two steel tubes, slightly curved, each of which has four holes. There should be eight screws, the rearmost pair being nuts and Allen bolts (which bolt to the rear of the carrier), the other six being Torx which screw into threaded holes. In the underside of the bike you should be able to see four threaded vertical holes in the alloy castings, each hole being set deep in a depression in the black plastic covering. The four top-hat shaped spacers sit in those depressions, and are the right length to enable the screws to screw into the castings whilst holding the steel tubes away from the plastic covering. Are you with me so far?

No. They are not compatible, bearing in mind that the entire rear subframe is totally different on the DVT.
