Hey 999. Any ideas on torque for the top yoke? Bottom is 14 but top not listed. I'm guessing a typo as have 2x steering head bolts. Handle bar bolts at 25nm. Cheers
I believe they refer to top yoke as 'steering head bolt', in which case 23nm. 'Fork end bolt' that you've highlighted is, I believe, the axle clamp in the fork bottoms.
Thanks. i'll go for that. Funny how they list it twice, one at 22nm and one at 23nm. The fork end bolts are just highlighted as I use that one fairly often.
I would think one is for the fork clamp bolts and the other for the yoke/tube clamp bolt? not sure which is which though? However +/- 1nm shouldn't make much difference. In the manual for 916 series they give a range of 20 -24nm for both and I can't really see the requirements of 999 being any different...
