Topping Up The Oil ..

  1. Evening

    Just spent at least five hours putting the fairing back on ..... I know I'm a bit of a mutt but that does seem a tad unreasonable!

    Anyway, somethibg I never noticed before I took the thing apart was how obscured the oil filler is .... on my old SS I need a long funnel to top up but at least I get a clear run for it.

    So ..... is it possible to top the oil up with the fairing in place?

  2. On the ST2 I need to remove the right lower fairing, 6 bolts, to top up the oil, but it never needs topping up.

  4. Thought it might come to that. You can also change the oil with just this panel removed?

  7. On the ST4s, there's easily enough flex in the panel to get a small plastic funnel there and top up
