What torque should bleed nipple and Banjo be on Brembo M4 Calipers? Ive hit google up and searched the forum but no joy. Don't want to be my usual ham fisted self and over tighten. Regards Chris
This is for a 1098 but will be similar. http://ducatiforum.co.uk/attachments/1098-torque-settings-pdf.65499/. Andy
Have a look here @cmyers_uk http://www.madcogz.com/MSTD1200s/wsm/en/home.html Section 7 part 3 last item
Thanks will use those, i didn't know if the M4 calipers needed different from standard torque settings maybe overthinking it let me know if the exhaust is for sale still on the 26th ( pay day )
I have an in built , tighter must be better and have broken so many bolts this doesn't work for me , so I have to use a torque wrench Cheers though
I used a torque wrench on a bleed nipple and it snapped right off. I think the brake fluid was acting as a slippery agent. I used to snap stuff when using a normal socket set as the leverage is the same regardless of the nut size. Use a ring spanner as they are shorter for smaller nuts therefore you can't torque up a smaller nut so high.
