tailpiece, lock bracket, widget thing. Dunno what you call it but I broke it. Does anyone know where I can get one or what the correct part name is? Need some help as usual folks so if anyone has one for sale I would appreciate it. Also how am I going to fix now that the plastic lug on the tailpiece seems to have snapped???? :-( Short explanation. I went on my first Euro Tour, Portsmouth, St Malo, over the Pyrenees, Andorra, Spain, Aragon, two dates of Dirt Biking in the Spanish hills, then a ride back around some mountainous rodes to Santander. Epic journey, but I was totally unprepared. Boil in the bag one piece leathers and more luggage than I would need in a year. Had to stick a ratchet strap across the tail piece as I was worried the flimsy looking front tailpiece hinge wouldn't hold and I'd go skidding off over the mountains edges. It wasn't fun on the twisties I can tell yer. Here's some pics to liven up a boring post. Anyone have a bracket?
There are two types, one for the mono (flatish) and one for the the BP (stepped). Both are available from your dealer and are reasonably priced. Talk to Craig at Moto Rapido, he supplied the last one I bought. There are some from eastern Europe on fleabay which I believe someone on here bought but can't remember any feed back. Andy
They are about £5 odd the last time I bought one which was last year, that is for the mono one which it looks like you have on your bike. Most listers on eBay charge much more based on the fact that they just pluck a figure out of the air.
I bought one of the eastern European ones from ebay £9 did the job.... It's stepped so the spacers go underneath rather than on the top...
Cheers folks, at the risk of sounding helpless can you point out the ebay links I can't find anything?

The cheapest and correct option is a Ducati dealer, the Eastern European ones are for those people that want to convert to mono.
Ah OK. Should have said. This is a MONO I just stuck the passenger footpegs on to help with the tie down points.
