Touring on the V2 For those who do more than a couple of hundred posing miles a year......I can confirm that the Kriega fitting kit for the V4 fits the V2 just fine.
@manicguitarist have you got any photos showing it fitted. I bought the V4 fitting kit and am not happy how it fits at all.
The subframe is different on the V2, as it's tubular steel covered in panels, where as it's obv box section on the V4, so the mounting might be different, even though the seat cowl etc is all interchangeable between the two.
here we have straps visible with seat removed, straps hidden under the seat, straps exposed from the side of the seat and then my US5 attached (the US30 is in the house, but the principle is the same)
Thanks @manicguitarist I really struggled to get the strap at the back to fit straight/square it just seemed too thick to fit underneath. When I did fit it I found it hard to get the seat to slide on. I'll have to have another go.
Yes I did, took me a while to realise that I had to do that as the instructions which came with it were poor.
