Hello men. On my 2012 1200 I have had touring seats from new. Whilst I can see a comfort seat listed for the rider, I can't see a comfort pillion seat listed any more. Is there such a thing, or does the same one from the earlier bikes also fit the DVT ? Also, does the keyless filler from the earlier bikes fit the DVT tank ? (i.e. same bolt pattern, same electrical connection) Cheers, John. (preparing for a potential purchase by gathering bits if they crop up)
I fitted a keyless fuel cap to my 1200S DVT pretty sure it is the same as the previous generation though there have been revisions they are all the same size and should fit.
I got an electronic filler cap for my 2011 Multi from new, then transferred the same cap to my 2015 DVT Multi. Now the very same cap is on my current 2017 DVT Multi, so yes, they are fully compatible. That cap has done 60K miles or so, and still works perfectly.
