Track Bike Cover

  1. This was a topic of discussion a while ago and the consensus was that the UK made cover that prompted the discussion was too expensive. Well fast forward however many months and you get this.

The lady whose concept it was, has negotiated an alternative manufacturer and reduced the price of the basic cover, still water proof, still soft lined and still good quality to just over £160. Unfortunately when I dropped the bikes off for Cartagena, she was showing this example in orange which suited Carole''s NC29 perfectly .......... so I just had to buy it :innocent:. She is just in the process of developing a cover for the Panigale so I'll have to wait to see if that or the generic sports bike one fits the 1098R. Andy

  2. I’m sure the quality is great, but too loose and cost still a barrier to market imho. I’m guessing it’s becaue maker is a one-person set up and makes them by hand.

Either needs the be more tailored and carry that extra cost or 39.99 and as loose as that one is as a general cover.

  3. Picture is deceptive, the cover overlaps under the catch tray and velcros together. The cover also has stitched, tied down loops. As the cover is designed to be on the bike whilst you move it around, it can't be too tight. £40 buys you a flimsy paper based indoor cover. What was it someone was asking for their Ducati cover, £220 ? Remember this is a transit protection cover and is well padded. I'm happy anyway. Andy
