Picked up my new 2017 Multistrada yesterday can any one help locate the connection to plug in my Ducati Battery Tender On my previous Multistrada there was a cable connection onto the battery under the seat
It plugs into the diagnostics cable under the riders seat. It has a cover that you remove first. The old system of providing a charging cable connected to the battery has been discontinued after causing corrosion/shorting and canbus problems
Mine just has it attached to the battery, like the lead shown in the link. Dealer fitted it for me from new. Be interested in knowing more about the correct lead and where it plugs?
Thanks DenH found the connection and plugged in lead working ok the salesman pointed it out when i collected the bike it's shown in the handbook but it's not clear
