Tried And Tested Ways To Break In New Leathers

  1. I've just taken delivery of my shiny new A* GpPro tech air suit.
    I have been using the same suit for around 8 years which feels like my favourite pair of comfy slippers. But has seen one too many trips into the gravel.
    So does anyone have any top tips of how to break in a new set?
    I'm not riding on the road anymore so I can't pile a ton of road miles on them before I start my Trackday season, and anyway to speed up this process would be gratefully received

  2. Take a really hot bath in it then leave it on to dry. H2H.

  4. I've heard about the hot bath idea before. But I can't convince myself to sit in the bath with what should have been a Grands worth of suit on!
    I was considering a few sessions on the spinning bike wearing them. But I know the wife will be taking photos!

  17. hell, when im not on my ducati, looking at pictures if my ducati, or shopping for bits to put on my ducati, i may aswell wear my ducati leathers and wear them in

  18. Take them for a drive in your car
    I used to wear my leathers driving as my bike was kept in a friends garage a drive away
    No one will see :)

  19. My first track day I bought new leathers and wore them without breaking them in
    I was so busy riding around I didn't noticed how tight they were and I think heating up in them stretch them a bit
    :D
