Not sure if anyone has seen this before This recall was originally initiated in November 2015 by the manufacturer but a large number of affected tumble driers have not yet been accounted for. Due to this, the UK Government has now also issued a recall notice on Hotpoint, Indesit, Swan, Proline and Creda tumble dryers manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015. https://productrecall.campaign.gov.uk/ As a responsible Landlord, we have taken the decision to assist in the communication of the recall instructions. If you do not have access to the Internet, please call 0800 151 0905, which is a Freephone service dedicated to this recall. If you believe you have an affected appliance, the instruction from the manufacturer is to STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY AND UNPLUG IT. Contact the manufacturer on the above number and they will arrange a free visit from one of their engineers. Our ten year old “was going to buy anew one” Tumble dryer is now going to be replaced / upgraded for £59 ! Happy days
