I currently ride a 2010 mts ...love it,ive looked at and demo rode the new dvt and its on the next bike list ,however I cant stop looking at that ugly black box thing above the sump guard on the left of the bike ..what is it ?...fuel vapour .emissions ?,any body know a way you can do away with it ?,thanks mark.
I agree with you Mark, all this fuss on here about the reflectors on the fork legs and there's this genuinely ugly box on the bike that hardly gets a mention Any help to remove appreciated for when I get mine
I seem to remember reading somewhere it was to catch fuel vapour ? rather than the usual rubber tube coming from the tank,they have had them in the usa for years but for some reason have showed their ugly face on the dvt,shame they couldnt have hidden it somewhere ...maybe removing it wouldnt effect the bike ?....(waiting on a techie ........ )
