Just removed a 190/55 x 17 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP (manufactured week 37, 2015) and a 120/70 x 17 Pirelli Supercorsa BSB (manufactured week 8, 2014) from my 1098R in preparation for refurbishing the wheels. Nice new Metzeler Racetech RRs will be fitted when finished so the Pirellis are surplus to requirement. The tyres were fitted in February this year for the MoT and have done about 300 miles as can hopefully be seen from the photos. £150 collected. Andy
I will take them if you are around London or on the way to Cornwall. If not anyone know a company that transports tyres??? As they are on the prohibited list of most eg TNT, DPD so on.
I guess that tyres come under flammable goods which are restricted by most couriers. Parcelforce won't take car and motorcycle parts, even new ones. Andy
No, still available at this point in time although if the logistics can be resolved, there is an interested party. Andy
Tyres are off to a motorcycle jumble table sale at TVAM if there is no futher interest or offer (please note, cash/paypal/bank transfer only). Andy
The BSB is marketing speak for bleed over from developing the race tyre and providing a soft grippy road tyre, quite a revalation when they were launched 4 or 5 years ago. The latest Superbike Pirelli comes in SP and SC and without visiting their web site, I don't know the difference. Suffice to say they are dry use only, are very grippy and short lived. I've seen 800 to 1000 miles of very enthusiastic riding but expect more like 2000 to 2500 miles max. Also good track day tyres. Andy
SP is a dual compund road tyre with track abilities and the SC is a road legal track tyre with less tread giving a larger side edge contact patch. Andy
Didn't sell at the autojumble so substantial reduction, £90 the pair collected from West Berks/NE Hants, M4 Js 11/12/13, M3 J6. Andy
