I posted this in the V2 section, but this is probably better place. Chain tension question. The manual/diagram on the swing arm differ from the actual bike. The position A as per the diagram is nowhere near any of the retaining screws B. So...where do you measure from?
I feel your pain.. I've got a 1299 Panigale and my manual states to measure the distance between center of chain pins and the aluminum portion of the swing arm. The trouble is, my swing arm has a plastic shield the entire length of the swing arm. Surely you don't have to remove this just to check the measurement is correct? I have a 2016 model so if anyone else has this model I'd appreciate an answer on how this is done.
