My brand-new V2S displays an error and the ECU goes into overload if I try and lock it with the steering to the right. It clearly says in the handbook that the steering can be locked either to the left or the right. I understand most people normally lock their bikes to the left but coming from a 1200 multi-Strada which has a far greater lean angle on its side stand, I am in the habit of occasionally locking it to the right. I did this with my brand-new V2S on the first day at the end of a long trip and it wouldn’t start again for 2 1/2 days! My dealership tells me that you should not lock the bike to the right despite the manual saying you can. Has anybody else had this experience?
