I traded in my 1200 DVT after 5 years and now own a V4 multistrada. I would like to buy an enduro style top box from say Givi but do they do an adapter plate for the V4 multistrada yet?
Not much about for the V4 as yet, may be worth a look at Iconic Iconic Parts - Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories They mention that their V4 Luggage rear rack may have a Givi Monokey adapter soon.
I emailed Iconic Parts to enquire as to when the attachment kit for the plate would be released. They replied saying they're not releasing their own kit and that the "Givi E115F Spares Kit" would suffice. I ordered the Iconic Parts rack yesterday, and ordered the Givi kit from ebay. Hopefully I should take delivery of both items next week.
Took delivery of the Iconic Parts plate this morning. The Givi spares kit was easily attached to the plate using a 10mm spanner and a 4mm Allen key (and a touch of threadlock for some added reassurance), although the included bolts were a bit on the long side so I had to use a few spacers. The plate was fixed to the rear grab handles in a matter of minutes.
Just placed a brand new Givi Trekker outback (black), iconic mounting plate and Givvi E115F fitting kit in the For Sale section if youre interested?
Tried them in various positions but can’t seem to marry anything up. It is deffo the right one though
