I have just completed the install of the Givi crash bars. To access one of the mounting bolts , you have to prise off the plastic cover on the right side which obscures the bolt and also covers the swingarm to engine bolt. It is impossible to put the cover back on as it would have been put in place at the factory before the swing arm bolt was inserted. So if I remove the swingarm bolt, will the swing drop down, or will it behave like taking the bolt off the front wheel axil; where the wheel says on the bike until you drive the shaft out.
