I am waiting for my Spider rear sets to come for my Panigale V4s and was looking to install a brake pressure switch to activate the brake light and wondered if anyone had a link to the one I need to order that is hopefully plug and play.
As far as I knew, the Spider rearsets are all ‘race only’ which would leave the only option being an in-line banjo pressure switch fitted to the rear master cylinder. Some similar to this, https://www.demon-tweeks.com/goodri...MmDuddoxq0k7pLIK31RoC_qoQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds. More common on the front brake but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on the rear. Andy
That’s what I’m after. I just wondered what if anyone had done this swap before and had details of the correct part to order that will plug into the wiring harness without any modifications
This should work. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hydrauli...p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
Unlikely but easy enough to solder the banjo switch wires into a compatible connector. If I remember, it will be white with a yellow inner. A supplier has been linked somewhere on the forum, hopefully someone will remember or search for connectors. Andy
On one of my bikes the little spade connectors simply push into the female part of the block connector. Bit of insulating tape and job done. Not pretty but not visible. Simple.
It will be one of these, https://kojaycat.co.uk/epages/95000...tPath=/Shops/950000457/Products/DUC-19JST-SET but sure if you search kojaycat, you will find a smaller quantity. Andy
Scrub that, just remembered, this is the rear brake switch removed from my V4 to fit Spider rear sets. Andy
