V4s Sf Brake Discs/pads

  1. Has anyone upgraded the OEM discs/pads? currently finding them will little stopping power. Any recommendations?

  2. Assuming everything isn't worn out, that set up should stop you pretty well, the same brakes on the Pikes Peak, and that weighs a tonne, I've tracked it a few times and were ok. How is the ABS set up in the dash, if it's set high that may give the impression of not braking quickly perhaps as the ABS is always interfering. Assume the fluid isn't old, and all bleed properly?

  3. I could not get on with the front brake master cylinder on mine, so changed it out for a Brembo RCS and the braking is massively improved. Mine is a 2023 so I used the 17RCS Brembo, just make sure you match the correct master cylinder to your callipers

  4. No nothing worn, bike only covered 3k miles and 21plate. tbf i didn't even know you could setup the ABS. I am going to change the oil and filters in a week or so, so will get the brake fluid done at the same time.

  5. I thought it would have been a simple case of switching the rotors and pads to get better performance, it's my first Duc so still familiarising myself with it, comparing it to the Brembos on my Speed triple 1200 RS and those are far better.
