Hey

Is there a correlation between valve adjustment and cold starting? Ie, does perfect value clearances = perfect starting or possibly hard starting as they are right warn?

Please enlighten me

Biggest thing with our bikes is going to be a strong battery combined with really good cables.
Before I fitted a cable kit, even with a new battery, I often found the motor would fire as I took my thumb off the starter. The starting circuit was drawing so much current that there was not enough for the ignition circuit.
