Hi can anyone confirm the angle of the valves in relation to the bore of the piston on the scrambler please. i suspect 120degree? i am assuming all models will be the same
it's less than that now Derek, Pantah aircooled 2valve was 60 deg included and if 803 engine evolved from 796/696 then 58 degrees now. http://www.automototech.com/node/39
Thanks for that Chris. I meant to say 60º above but mistyped it as 80º. I'd read that article before but couldn't remember the details nor where to find it again.
Bevels were 80 degrees, reduced to 60 degrees for later special racing bevels. Pantahs all 60 degrees from the start. Reduced later as time went by ...
