I'm guessing the spider is a reference to the infamous fly that was photographed during an early magazine test on a (pre?)production 750ss, preserved for all to see in the clear resin strip on the tank...
I bought a gearbox and some other direct from VeeTwo about 10 years ago. They were a bit slow in replying to my emails but came good and I'd happily deal with them again although, much as I might want, to I doubt I could justify - let alone afford - one of these engines. AU$38,000, presumably plus import charges/VAT etc, is a LOT of moolah. But circumstances could change, I might win the pools! Plain bearings must be fairly imminent as they specifically mention using them on their website? Presumably you would you slot it into your currrent chassis? Rob F
