  1. basically I am unable to send or receive emails as I have been locked out by virgin, I am home from slovenia on Tuesday/Wednesday but been without emails is affecting me, I had an SMS message telling me it was spam related and I could login and reset but I do not have the necessary information with me so I am miffed to say the least.

Two years ago I upgraded my phone with o2 immediately I was unable to send email by iPad I went to apple, o2 etc and the issue was never resolved I could send email by phone but not iPad I am at my wits end, any recommendations to go a non apple route i.e. What phone, tablet etc as I will be on the lookout from next week.

  2. I like smaller phones that will fit in my pocket, have great battery life and are waterproof. Sony are the only company that have all this at a good price (if anyone knows better please let me know!).

  3. phones: been a samsung fan for quite a while ( currently have an s8+ ) which is great. Tablet...depends on your budget...which is....?

  4. Was hoping by putting things on contract wouldn't need a big budget as would pay a contract, totally open to Samsung, Sony etc the plus with apple was or is they are linked which is good for work or booking hotel etc as it shows on both devices

  5. Sony Compact X are about £80 on ebay, / Compact XZ1 £220ebay or £20 PCM inc mins & 1GB / Compact XZ2 £470ebay £35 PCM inc mins & 1GB

The main differences are camera functions but for general use the £80 model is fine. The £80 model came out about 18months ago so it quite current.

  6. samsung have a new tab....a lot of cash but i would say the latitude 7285 im using is probably the best tablet ive ever used..or, a surface pro 4 is equally as good..

  7. Never had a problem with apple to be honest

  8. Always difficult sorting these issues not having the hardware in front of me mate, has she changed her password lately ? Did she change it locally on the iPad as well? Also check cached creds..

  9. My reasoning was personal in a way....having a full blown pc in a tablet means its got the grunt and resolution to do multiple things....got a you tube vid playing on one side and this webpage on the other....

  10. Phone - Any Galaxy S models.
Tablet - A little different here. Have a look at a Microsoft Surface Pro. Touch screen, stylus and keyboard are all available and runs Windows (Unless you are an Apple fan, then there is only one way to go). I run full MS Office on mine as well as some heavier duty programmes. Basically the best compromise between a laptop and tablet; in my opinion. The surface pro does not have a 4g option however, you can just tether it to your phone (or use a dongle if you still live in the '90's).

  11. No Idea what that is....sounds like youre more clued up than me... :)
