Visor anti rain stuff

  1. Hi all.

Picked up a bottle of 'Rain Away' from poundland for.… yes £1! It's from a company called Pro Driver.

Always a bit sceptical about these cheaper products so thought I would get one to try.

Covered half my windscreen in it last night and this morning, using a watering can, poured water over the screen. I was amazed to find that it actually worked!!

I have just covered the visor on an old helmet with it and there was no milking/clouding of the visor and the run off was the same.

    Brilliant and a bargain!

Just thought I would share my findings with you all. As long as Poundland have it in stock, I won't need to spend a fortune on rainex.

    Pete

  2. Used Rainex for years on the car and visors so any cost savings are greatly appreciated!:upyeah:

  3. My pleasure.

Thing I noticed was the lack of smell with the poundland stuff.

Nikwax and rainex have a strong, almost, vinegary smell.

Anyway, was glad to pass this on to others, next time I'm in there I'm gonna pick up a few bottles.

  4. Looks worth it, wish I could get something for the death zone for flies that was my visor yesterday.
