Argos are selling the GoPro Session 5 for £129, they wont last long at that price. I know it's a recently dropped model but at this price and the size it's ideal for cycling or motorcycling.
No. Avoid GoPro as (in my experience) they are unreliable. I’ve had constant problems with the main record and menu switches. Also find that around 20% of files are unreadable via GoPro software and Applie iPhoto reads more. I’ve got to the point where I’m never sure whether I’ve captured footage or not. Don’t know what to recommend instead but would not buy another GoPro.
Other than cracking a screen by a flying stone which may have been avoided with a screen protector I've never had an issue with my GoPro. The screen is easy to replace and available on eBay and Amazon, next time i'll carry a spare The session is a proper easy bit of kit to use. Press the record button it will power up and start recording, press the button again it stops recording and powers down. The battery life is good and the guys on the Spain trip heard and saw the quality of sound and picture. I'd buy one again if I lost it or destroyed it, session has a thumbs up from me. i have an older gen GoPro and that was less operator friendly and the battery life sucked Session can also be set in loop mode which will operate the same as a dash cam
