Want To Change Linkage Arm On 848 Evo

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by treborquinn, Oct 9, 2017.

  1. Hi guys,
Want to change the linkage arm to an adjustable so I can lower the ride height. Any one done this that could give me a how to support the bike etc when doing this. Or if there’s a post somewhere else I could look at.
    Cheers

  2. Abba stand works well. Supports the bike via the swing arm pivots.

  3. You can fit one from a 1098, best way is to support the bike by putting axle stands under the foot pegs and letting the swing arm drop , also remove the rear wheel so it gives more room to work with.

  6. I supported the rear subframe with a strap to the joist in the garage roof worked a treat

  7. If you have folding pegs, swap them left/right so upside down and axle stands under pegs as they should be fixed now.
