Good question ! I always liked the 916 but would want a really nice one , been having trouble finding one without the price bee out of my range , i use to have a 1098 but always wished I had the s, so withe the price of both being similar it's a bit of heart and head !! What do you think ????
Makes no sense to me Personally I think a 998S is the way to go ,a timelass classic with all the advantages of a sorted and more modern motor.But then I would say that.................:wink:
Hmmm - I dunno. I have a 996SPS ... so kinda in-between the two ... and I love it (of course). If it was me, I think I'd want the 916 ... but that's just me.
I fancied the 1098 as you can pick up a nice one at a fair price now, but I really wanted a early 916, god knows why when the 916 is slow most of the time, unreliable most of the time and uncomfortable to ride slow in town, so did I go for the later more reliable more comfortable faster 1098? Did I heck as like 916 all the way, if you get a shabby one treat it as a rolling restoration, it will appreciate well over time unlike the 1098
