Hi. I’m looking for a set of front forks for my 996. Showa preferred, but will consider Ohlins. Thoughts on the upgrade welcomed! Near London.
standard ohlins forks are'nt really much better than the the gold Tin showa,, if you go ohlins you'll also need an ohlins bottom yoke to suit, so probably around £1400 against £300 for some nice showa forks
You can have your bottom yokes machined out to accept the bigger Öhlins. No need to buy a replacement.
