Before I go and buy a new one I thought I'd put a shout out to see if anyone has a 996 (so I assume 916/748) rear paddock stand in their garage they want rid of? Thanks in advance.
Try eBay for a F Gubellini stand. They are one of the best and are rebadged to be used as Ducati Performance stands. I got both front and rear stands from eBay for my bike. Rear stands for motorcycles - FG Gubellini
