This may not help much, but I found my tank cover on e-bay... I got a taller, "flip-up" screen from M&P - it makes a lot of difference to the comfort on long runs... There is a discussion thread on the ST section of the forum about HiD lighting - I was looking at some cheap ones off Amazon - some people like them, some don't...
Got a search set up on ebay for the tankcover but no banana yet.Didn't know M&P did a screen so I'll check them out,I really like the GP500 screen but the postage from the States is almost as much as the screen!.I have no experience of HID,but I find the lights on mine just about adequate,so if theres anything I can do to improve them I'm willing to have a look at least.Have you tried higher power bulbs at all?
