If anyone has a full size hydraulic motorcycle lift / Workbench for sale, and is prepared to ship it (if your miles away) please let me know......Cash waiting Thanks. Danny
You'd be better off buying one from Ebay etc like I did and have it delivered, a few years ago I looked at one and delivery charges we're as much as the ramp given the size and weight.
This ones on ebay at the mo, free delivery as well. ( the company is nothing to do with me.) 1000lb (450kg) Hydraulic Bike Motorcycle Ramp / Lift Workbench | eBay You can also get the "homemade" ones that use a trolley jack. I`ve read that they are ok, but because the jack is designed to be used on a car it can be hard to lower the bike down gently.
as above, the ramps that come from China now via Sealey, Clarke, (Royson?) etc are ridiculously cheap combined with free 'shipping'. I even have a secondhand one that I don't want but postage would 'knock it on the head'.
I looked at buying a second-hand one as well. They were selling for almost as mush as the new ones plus you had to collect. I just bought a new one, my thinking being I could easily get my money back when I was done with it.
I have one of those.... If anyone does get one take the delivery, even if you live local, as the wooden crate they come in is huge. Trust me I know :frown:
He speak truth....They are flippin' heavy. Looks a good price... Mine's slightly different and was ~£300. Looks like they've come down in price! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1000-lb-l...ycle_Parts&hash=item1e607724e9#ht_3074wt_1195 Make sure you adjust/check the hydraulics before loading yr bike on, as MINE lowered VERY fast out of the box!
not to get between the scissors here, you'd be welcome to borrow but a couple of things - it's not a full length version, i.e. - platform not long enough to rest average bike on both it's wheels and hydraulic ram 'weeps' v. slowly - a common fault with most of these rams at the cheaper end of the market.
