  1. Crankcase breather pipe for a 900ss (1997)

Mine is beginning to show its age at the engine end and becoming perished.

Anyone got one looking for a new home?

  2. Ah rubbish. Was expecting a picture of a crim….

  4. Anyone else’s attention grabbed?

  5. What does it look like ? Got lots of bits I don’t recognise in boxes. You never know, I might have something that will do the job. Andy

  6. It’s a short black rubber pipe that connects from behind the vertical cylinder on the crankcase to the black plastic air collection box under the seat
It’s got a couple of light bends in its length.

If you don’t mind having a rummage that would be great.

  7. Will a piece of silicone hose not be OK as a replacement? It's flexible enough not to need preformed bends.

This is the pipe, picture is from the Haynes manual

  9. Okay, I’ll have a look. Andy

  10. Hi Dan
Yes probably would do, I’ve also seen steel braided hoses used and even a K&N air filter arrangement, but if I can I’d like to keep it to, or as near as possible to original

  11. Thanks.

  12. No joy I take it?

  13. Still looking. Been in the loft whilst clearing out the 1098 track body work and yes, sadly nothing yet. Andy
