Warped Disc

  1. Hello gents, I've got a warped disc on my sps is there anything I can do to sort it or is a replacement set required??

  3. If it were me and it was the disc that had gone 'Pringle' (technical term), I'd want a fresh set on.

  4. I would assume it depends on the thickness left..if half worn I would rather buy new.
    Had my Aprilia RS250 lower shock mount re-welded by Motoliners, top people :upyeah: can only recommend them.

    Edit: I assume you tried to free the bobbins first?

  5. Given they are full floating cast iron, I’d check bobbins first too :upyeah:

  7. I wouldn't say they were half worn but they look like the originals.
     
  8. If ori, check for cracking around the bobbins. Seen it a few times on race bikes and also seen results of failure :confused::mask:
