I am heading off to the Manx in August and although the Isle of Man has recently gone Mediterranean I feel I should take some insurance for wet weather. I will be wearing a two piece Dainese leather suit. I have worn a one piece over suit before, but they always seem to be too small, especially leg length ( I am 6’ 3” or 190 cms) and always leak due to poor zip seals at the front. Please share your wisdom and experience of better outcomes. Many thanks, Paul.
I use this, plenty of room in them for your leathers a great bit of kit, matching trousers can also be purchased. https://www.dainese.com/gb/en/motor...t-201634291.html?dwvar_201634291_color=ANTRAX
I always wear leathers on the bike but my last "motorbike" waterproof was a Frank Thomas Aquapak Since then I have alway used good quality jacket and trousers from outdoors stores on top of my leathers. Over the last 20+ years Craghoppers, Lowe Alpine, Mountain Equipment and Berghaus have been my choice. Easy to get on, plenty of pockets in the jackets and fold up small.
I have a set of these as does my girlfriend. Bought them last year and they do work well. Prior to the Scott jkt and trs I had a set of Held Wet Tour which were also superb. In fact I'd rate them over the Scott. The Helds we're available at the time, more expensive too. They lasted about 5 years before leaking.
This suit is brilliant… and stretchy. Throughly recommend and works well over leathers due to the stretch with zero flapping around. Sizes seem to be out of stock - which could be testament as to how good they are https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/en/proof-stretch-iii-rain-jacket-women-and-men-214507
I had another look this morning and they had a large available. Boom, in the bag and on it’s way. Thank you @MutleyV4S Thread close @Ducbird
