Just watched season 2 episode 2, I still don`t have a clue. Watched West:word, the after show, I don`t think they have a clue. Anyone???? Oh for the simpler days of Game Of Thrones.
Yes, but no, well, maybe........ Please don`t start watching it. I`m already trapped, I`d hate to think of any more poor souls who were dragged to their doom watching this show.
Liked the first season, and the last episodes wrapped it all up really nicely. However, I fear season 2 is descending into Lost territory, and soon we’ll see polar bears and black smoke in the woods....
We watched the last episode of the first episode again to try and bring ourselves up to speed, and realised we still couldn't remember it so we have started from the beginning of season 1!
Loved season 1. Started season 1 episode 1 and got very bored and turned it off 2/3rds in. Last night though, the wife and I sat and watched episodes 1 & 2. We actually got back into it. It's the constant flicking back and forth that is very distracting. Oh yes... definitely can't wait for GOT to be back.
Watched the season 2 opener and thought... WTF happened!? Season 1 was great but we're not even bothering with S2 now. Band of Brothers and Sopranos. All you need.
The whole premise of S2 is to start introducing new parks to the mix, we have now seen the Indian Raj park and the last scene of the most recent episode introduces Shogun world as the Samurai charges Mave with sword raised in attack. It is falling in line with the original film, which only had West world, Medieval world and Roman world IIRC (Yul Brenner was AWESOME) According to the book there are 6 parks in total, and the writers are moving in that direction, I am also led to believe the writers are going to be spending some considerable time on Shogun world this season, which suits me perfectly so i hope thats the way it goes. The way the series dot in and out of time lines is done on purpose and requires the viewer to remember sub plots and character choice consequences The Main bad guy a case in point (The man in black and William) Its a series that you just cant watch with out engaging the brain im afraid S2 E4 is titled The riddle of the Sphinx (Egyptian World maybe?) S2 E5 is Akane No Mai (Shogun World)
I am liking that they are opening and partly closing loops/plots within an episode or two. Stops the 'lost effect' (I hope) where it drifts and drifts and unless you have intently watched every second, you miss an important plot twist. Still tuning in
Stab, slash, shoot. Yeah, that`s more like it. I`ve followed the last two episodes ok-ish, does help not flip flopping between multiple timelines. It also helps that Delores` bandolier has stayed in roughly the same position as well. First time I`ve watched an episode and can`t wait for the next one.
we just re-watched season 1 and are now almost up to date with Season 2, Season 1 was SO much better the 2nd time around, we picked up so much more of the subtle bits and pieces. Also with more time passed from GOT, there is a touch less 'pressure' on it.
GOT there is another one that may well hav converging timelines. I love the idea that the whole story is being told by Sam the meister (spelling?!) as it happened rather than happening. They have had some lovely touches, like hold the door. Although they haven’t really killed as many main characters off, maybe because there aren’t many left tho lol
