When there are no lambda sensors in an exhaust the holes are plugged by thingies. What are they called and where can I get 2 of them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Grommets have a whole through for cables and are made of rubber. So nope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They screw in like bolts. I want to call them blanking plugs but that will be wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Blanking bolts. Actually just get the right size bolt. Recommend trying to lock wire the bolt in, they are known ti work their eaway out with vibration.
In my parts books they call them "caps" in the factory service books it refers to them as "Stainless steel plugs to exhaust pipes" and states the thread size as "1/8 gas" which I think is 1/8th bsp. Gives a torque setting of 25Nm
Think these are the ones I used - Universal M18x1.5 pitch blanking plug / bolt / bung / for Lambda sensor port | eBay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
