I currently have some Conti pipes fitted to my 900ss carby, which sound pretty great but are high level. I'm considering some Termignoni's as I would like to get back to the standard level look of the original exhausts. I know it's a difficult question to answer but does anyone have any experience with Termingnoni's on this bike, and how they compare to the stock cans? It's the sound I'm interested in, not so much whether extra ponies are gained. The Desmo V-Twin surely produces one of best sounds invented by mankind.
I have them on my 900ss ie and the sound is amazing. Very deep on tick over and wonderful when on the move. As you say it's hard to describe but slowing down with the throttle almost closed through my local town certainly turned heads!
I would go along with that. I'm in Surrey, close to Reigate if you are close enough to come over and have a listen.
