Gents. I want to get the metal part of these throttle body manifolds coated....coated says the lowest heat he can cook is 70 c Can anyone tell me what they can take. I'm assuming they're glued on in some shape way or form..
My personal experience of anything rattle canned eventually falls off so I'm looking for a more durable coating that cleans up well...
Will be some kind of TPE/TPV polymer and fine at 70C - how long is the process? I guess you will mask it?
Yep...masked off....I'm assuming they're near the engine they've gotta take an amount of heat....it'll be cerakote but I'll be calling the xylan bloke tomorrow to see what his process involves....
The temp above the engine of a full fairing 4 valve is often more than 90 deg in traffic so it should laugh at 70 deg.
