What Made You Decide On The V2?

  1. So I’ve seen a lot of posts recently about people switching a bike and ordering the Streetfighter V2, what made you decide to go down this route.

    p.s do you think they’ll do a V2S?

  2. I recently put a deposit down on a v2.after lots of research reading reviews, and a hr long test ride,I found it had responsive usable power started in sports mode through town then on motorway lots of top end revs ripping my arms off. Turn down to road mode through town on the way back better at low revs not as snatchy didn't try rain mode which dials it down to 100bhp.a tall seat which suits me as am a taller rider.would be amazing on track with lots of feel through the bars. Suspension felt great for pot hole riden british roads.I currently ride 848 13 plate streetfighter and there worlds apart,it certainly evokes the grin factor.. and obviously it looks great

  5. I really wanted the SFV4S, took one out a few times, and even had the dealer fit bar risers to the demo bike, but just couldn’t get on with it. The power was just too much for the road, as I’m a fool with no off switch. Riding it slowly in traffic was torture. And the riding position was no good for my dodgy body.

In comparison, the V2 has a much better power to weight ratio for the road, IMO, and is much more comfortable to ride in any situation, traffic, open roads, back roads, the lot.

  6. Ashame there’s not a V2S available.

  7. Not necessary tbh.

  8. Just picked up my storm green v2 , all the looks with still too much power for me . I've had it in wet mode till I get used to it !! Cant begin to imagine what the v4 would be like , completely wasted on me .
