  1. Someone who pilots a KTM1190R that's who

  2. Not wanting to get too Zen on anyone, but isn't it the 'adventure' itself?

  3. I don't know about that, back in the days of my BSA Bantam, it was an adventure to make it to Swansea and that was only 7 miles away
I wouldn't have called that bike an adventure bike

  4. Dogpile!
I worked as a dispatch courier in London, way back when, on a CD200 (aka Benly). Parallel twin, drum brakes, and I swear the suspension fluid was air. *That* bike was an adventure in itself, even before you add in the ice and snow from a hellacious winter, or the courier red mist...

  5. @ExKat at least you had brakes !

  6. Funny you should mention that. I happened to be in the dispatcher's office in Shoreditch, when somebody called in to say he'd picked up one of our other staff members whose bike had broken down (we were all renting CD200s). They were on their way in, and would be at the office in a couple of minutes.
"Roger," says the dispatcher. "Just remember to put yer brakes on early to allow for the dead weight on your pillion seat."
"We've had 'em on since Whitechapel! ETA 45 seconds..."
