so... next is a sat nav... me girl just got a new car and even though she said do not get stuff for the car for christmas, i thought i would get stuff for the car... went to curry's today and seen a few sat navs that look pretty good for around a hundred squid. whats ya thoughts peeps? had one years back that had bluetooth for hands free calls.. do ya still get that? couldnt see it on any of the adds...

@chizel does she commute to work by car? Does she do lots of new route journeys? Live traffic and speed camera database are the real useful functions. Blue tooth phone interface isnt a hot feature.
Don't bother I can't stand the things I can even manage to get lost using one You be better off getting cleaning stuff If I get lost I just use Siri on iPhone he is brilliant saved me the other day
phone holder plus "Waze" app (was free, not sure if they charge for it now). if only for occasional use, then a satnav will sit in the cupboard for months on end getting no use out of it, and become obsolete in no time. spend your hard earned on something else she doesn't need, but you'll like instead

Meanwhile, back at the OP... I've had a NavMan for years and it's great. Bigger screen and better graphics than most Tom-Tom units and cheaper too... And you can get map updates from the internet.
