Hi, As the title suggests, what type / size socket fits the large bolts that hold the trellis section to the engine and alloy side members ? It looks like a bloody big torx, but what is it and where do I get one ? Happy Christmas all.
its the adaptor that came with the SW Motech crash bars, if your near surrey u can borrow mine picture supplied
Lol, it's Much bigger than that Peter :wink: I just had another look and it's not torx as it has 12 lobes. So it could be spline, but not sure. Will have to measure it, it's bigger than anything I currently have.
Yep, that's the one. 4 of them that hold front trellis to alloy side members. Looking at your first pic, that looks like a piece of 17mm hex bar ?
Yep believe it is it came with my crash bars are you desperate? As might go to loomies tomorro weather depending or 1st obs Sunday
