Where does this Grommet go?

Finished refitting my refurbished forks on my 749s, wheel on, nosecone on, fairing on.

Just found this rubber grommet which I vaguely recall removing last week, but now can't remember where it came from .

Any ideas?

Cursed myself for forgetting the grommet, I had to remove the wheel again and calipers and the mudguard to do it, that will teach me!
